La-Tribune Economique (Huawei) – Huawei, en coopération avec l’organisation étudiante AIESEC, a organisé le ‘’SFTF Alumni Reunion Northern Africa’’ Sous le thème « Ensemble pour un avenir meilleur”, et ce à Tunis les 17, 18 et 19 juin.
L’ouverture de cet évènement s’est déroulée en présence de M. Moncef Boukthir, ministre de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, de son excellence l’Ambassadeur de la République Populaire de Chine en Tunisie Zhang Jianguo, et du vice-président exécutif de Huawei Northern Africa M. Philippe Wang.
Cet évènement régional vise à rassembler les anciens participants au programme « Seeds for the Future» de Huawei, dont près de 81 étudiants de 21 pays d’Afrique du Nord. Durant leur séjour, les participants ont pu profiter de rassemblements culturels ainsi que de visites organisées pour découvrir la Tunisie. L’élection de 10 ambassadeurs du programme « Seeds for the Future » a également eu lieu.
Lors de son allocution, M. Moncef Boukthir a salué le niveau de la coopération entre la Tunisie et la Chine, ajoutant qu’il existe un grand potentiel pour développer et structurer le dialogue entre les deux pays d’une part, et entre les communautés académiques et scientifiques d’autre part. Il a également précisé que le nouveau partenariat scientifique entre les universités des deux pays pourrait déboucher sur d’excellents projets académiques, exprimant son appréciation des opportunités que Huawei offre aux étudiants Tunisiens au vu de le leur impact positif sur le futur des jeunes du pays.
Son excellence M. Zhang Jianguo, a quant à lui déclaré que l’économie numérique pousse vers un nouveau cycle de développement technologique et industriel. Il a ajouté que les entreprises chinoises ont fourni une aide importante aux pays africains. Il a par ailleurs appelé dans le même contexte à renforcer la coopération et le partenariat dans le domaine de l’éducation numérique entre la Chine et les pays africains au niveau des gouvernements, des entreprises, et des universités.
De son côté M. Philippe Wang, a indiqué que Huawei travaille à renforcer les capacités et les compétences des étudiants, afin de soutenir le développement technologique des pays africains. A titre d’exemple, il a annoncé que l’entreprise chinoise offrirait des opportunités de formation pour près de 10.000 étudiants Tunisiens dans le domaine du numérique dans les 5 prochaines années à travers des programmes tels que ICT Academy.
Il convient de noter que « Seeds for the Future » a été lancé en 2008 à l’échelle mondiale. Il s’agit de l’un des programmes RSE phare de Huawei, mis en œuvre pour concrétiser sa responsabilité sociétale. Implémenté dans plus de 131 pays et régions, impliquant plus de 9 000 étudiants de plus de 500 universités, ce programme offre aux meilleurs étudiants ingénieurs une formation sur les dernières technologies TIC ainsi qu’un échange culturel entre les pays.
